Ana Chirițoiu is an emerging researcher in the OUTOFSIGHT project. She obtained her PhD in 2022 from the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna, with a thesis about practices of social ordering among a Romani group in southern Romania. She has since completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Uppsala University and has published on Romani vernacular politics, ethnic conflict, and persecution; most recently in a special issue of Social Analysis, 2024, co-edited with Chakad Ojani.
